Tasting Notes
Aves del Sur Pinot Noir Reserva, Maule Valley is a deep ruby red colour. Great aromatic intensity in which aromas of cherry, cranberry, chocolate, coffee bean, and tobacco are revealed. The palate is medium-bodied, concentrated, with ripe and rounded tannins. With a sweet entry in the mouth, flavours of black cherry, nutmeg, vanilla, cloves, and a smoky note are developed.Â
The Producer
Since Carlos Alberto del Pedregal arrived in Chile from Asturias in Spain in 1825 and brought European vines with him, the Del Pedregal Family has been associated with the wine industry. The family settled in the Loncomilla Valley in the Maule region, lured by the excellent conditions for viticulture. For eight generations, they have remained dedicated to the winemaking business, preserving the original traditions while adapting to modern times. The company has been gradually investing in new technologies, acquiring new terrain, and challenging itself to respond dynamically to the needs of the 21st century consumer.
