After 40 years, Il Poggiarello is still a family-run company. The fifth generation has joined their parents to continue the original project: to produce top-quality wines, capable of best representing the Piacenza winemaking tradition.

Il Poggiarello is located in Val Trebbia, between the serenity of the woods and the silence of the vineyards.

After a soft pressing and a maceration at a temperature of 23°C, the wine exhausts slowly its fermentation at 18°C in order to keep its fruity aromas unchanged. Then the second fermentation in a pressurized tank is started to give this pleasant and rustic wine a delicate petillant.
