Grenache Blanc 2021, Chasing Rabbits, Wellington, South Africa

A fresh and light interpretation of Grenache Blanc, it’s aromatic with a steely citrus character. The palate has ripe pear, yellow plum and some spice, cut with a pithy citrus finish.

According to winemaker Corlea Fourie, Chasing Rabbits captures the fine tension and clarity of young Grenache fruit. The grapes come from a single certified organic vineyard.

The fruit is hand harvested, destemmed and pressed into a stainless-steel tank, where fermentation takes place naturally. Malolactic fermentation is blocked.

The wine is aged in neutral vessels until bottling.
