Tasting Notes
With 30% aged in new oak, there is an attractive nose of sweet cherry fruit, elegant and fine with lovely silky tannins. Good
concentration of black cherry and berry fruit as well as beautifully balanced tannins and acidity. A clean, precise wine.
The Producer
Domaine Michel Gros located in Vosne Romanée, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, has its origins in 1830, when the first member of the GROS family settled there and founded his estate. The following generations have continued to develop the plot of the estate, which currently reaches an area of 23 hectares.
In 2019, Pierre GROS (Domaine Michel GROS), chose to devote himself entirely to the family estate. Today, he represents the 7th generation of this dynasty of winegrowers, continuing and developing with the support of his father, Michel, the work undertaken by their ancestors.
Passionate but also very rigorous, Pierre brings constant care to the development of his wines, mastering all the stages of production, from the vines to the bottling.
