Tasting Notes
Ruby colour, with great complexity of red fruit jam and spices aromas. Velvety and very well structured, it’s an elegant and persistent, with a very enjoyable finish.
The Producer
Casa Santos Lima is a family owned company present in the regions of Lisboa, Algarve and Alentejo, Vinho Verde and Douro.
This way and from around 400 hectares of vineyards, it produces wines known for their excellent quality/price ratio and exports around 90% of its total production to close to 50 countries in all 5 continents.
Vinification
Fermentation in 26.500 litres vats, with programmable pumping over system and temperature control at 26. ºC – 28. º C. Skin contact maceration and (submerged) cap for 10 days. Partial ageing in 250 litres barrels of American and French oak.
