Tasting Notes
The nose is expressive, fresh, very aromatic, marked by notes of white fruit (peach, nectarine, pear); the whole slightly lemony and associated with a very discreet woodiness.
The Producer
The château dates back to the 17th century and is situated in the highly prized southern section of Pessac-Léognan in the heart of Graves. André Lurton first saw the estate in 1973 and work began to restore it to its former glory in 1975. After significant investment and modernisation, the estate has nearly 100 hectares of vines on beautiful south-facing gravelly rises and a cellar with a capacity of two thousand barrels.
Vinification
Manual harvesting, pressing of whole grapes, fermentation and aging in barrels with stirring, the quality of the vinification allows us to make the most of a magnificent raw material. With notes of flowers and exotic fruits, this wine always leaves the memory of a lively and distinguished whole.
