Astobiza Txacoli 2021, Okendo, D.O. Arabako Txakolina

Clean and bright. Straw yellow colour with shades of green. Intense varietal aromas, with overtones of pear and apple, grapefruit, and peach. Fresh in mouth, lively, balanced, long, persistent aromatic finish, with slightly bitter and mineral varietal overtones from the soil.

The Abando-Moyua family is the driving force behind the winery: Xabier Abando, passionate winegrower and promoter of the winery, and Begoña Moyua, the Lady of Astobiza and Xabier’s staunch supporter. Astobiza is governed by the principles of transparency, proximity and identification with the family project, which is also consistent with a philosophy based on innovation and research.

Astobiza is unique because of its grape, its production and its way of understanding life. It is made with 90% Ondarrabi Zuri and 10% Ondarrabi Zuri Zerratie native grape varieties.
