Rully 2018, Joseph Drouhin

Joseph Drouhin Rully Rouge is a beautiful ruby red Pinot Noir. The grapes were gathered in hand from Drouhin Domaine, while additional grapes were supplied by trusted partners. After maceration and vinification, this fine red was left in French oak barrels for 12-15 months to mature.

The vineyard that Joseph Drouhin set up in the city of Beaune in 1880 has been growing steadily over the years. This heritage of knowledge and passion has been handed from generation to generation at Maison Joseph Drouhin, which is now in the hands of the third generation of the family. The focus on quality and the level of attention paid to the smallest details throughout makes Joseph Drouhin a master of its trade. The company has been certified organic since 2009. Two aspects that the vineyard insists on are proper weathering of the wood for the barrels and achieving a true expression of the land and its unique character through the wines produced.
